The situation of the Haitian people in the Dominican Rep.

Once upon a time ,  Haiti was the richest country in the Caribean area. The people were not happy during the 17e and the 18e centurythey were in slavery . Haiti proclamed it Independance on junuary first 1804 although the situation was not better +. In 19e century,the Dominican Rep. was governed by the president of Haiti Jn- Pierre Boyer for 21 yearsand became independent in 1844 ,40 years after Haiti.

As the situation of Haiti becomes worse and worse from day to day ,The Dominican Rep. becomes more advanced , so the Haitian people are obliged to go to the Dominican Rep. in order to get a better life .They work in constructions and the fields .They go overthere illegally since the situation was very bad for them in their country. That sometimes the Dominican people treat them like animals .They kill the Haitians in the forest sometimes . The Haitian who leave their children and their wife in order to better the situation, don’t get back because they have been killed .

Until today , the situation is getting more and more difficult. Two years ago , a brother of mine was stabbed by a dominican and no one else comes  to rescue him . a month ago an haitian was beheaded ( decapited) at a public place and all the others dominicans were lauthing and finally , three weeks ago they cut the ears of more than ten haitians . That makes every body sad in Haiti.

I have two brothers and more than ten counsins who are living in The Dominican Rep, their absence saddens me very much.I can’t do any thing for them because I’m a student .  Even a laptop I can’t buy that requires the University.

I suggest , if someone has possibility to creat some projects or buisiness specially in Bayonnais, it would be fantastic for the people in Bayonnais and for him\her. The people in this community would find a little job and many of  them wouldn’t get back in the Dominican Rep.  The salary is cheap in Haiti.

The people in Bayonnais are waiting for you and I’m too ,I ‘m looking forward to hearing from you .

Thanks to the Americans people

I think today it is a privillege for to write this subject in order to than to the American people . I have to give respect with my english teachers , Peter Daniel and pastor Actionnel Fleurisma .

Today , I feel very happy because I begin to find what I was looking for . Thanks to God , I’m in college today. Although I don’t have possibility to study ingenering but I satisfy with this . If I have possibility , I will styudy it .

 

I thank to every one who has thought to me about my studies . Today I begin to realize my plan ……………………………..

The hurricane Hanna

One more time , Haiti is distruyed by the cyclone Hanna.It is the 4th birthday of Jeanne. Actually , the haitian people are living in a situation we cannot compare with the animal’s . As you know the situation before and now ,it is getting more and more difficult because the animals and all the fields and a lot of houses are distruyed.Nobody can find food because it is very dirty in Haiti now. Especially in my area , Bayonnais , my parents and all the neighbors don’t have any thing , we are living by the feath because we know God can make way out no way.

I think ,if you were in this situation, how would you feel ? In Bayonnais, we have to buy what we need at Gonaives and now the stories at Gonaives are all perished, here is the situation and not only Gonaives but all the 9 departments in Haiti. I think you can understand the situation in what we are living now .It is not all because other cyclones are annonced , we don’t know what to do in Haiti at this moment. We have no food , no clothes we can say we are private of all.

Although you have already received the new , It is an obligation that I tell you the situation. If you are a good thinker you can think about that and try to do your best too.

The overpopulation

There are six big problems which are making ravage in the world .

these troubles reach almost the world.These problems are :Famine , War , Pollution, Illeteracy , Erosion and overpopulation. This last is one seems very interesting for me to discribe .

How is it spreading in the world ?

At first, my fourth post where I discribed the Haitian youth, I show the touble the can cause in the soceity.

In some countries especially the poor countries that they call South countries .The youngs in these countries are not formed that means they don’t receive any famly education . So they give birth to the premature children. For example the youngs the youngs people can give birth at age of :13 , 14 ,15 …..years old . We can have reason because they have not receive any family education before . They are following their parents who lived in the same situation before . They receive no education too, so they continue living in the same situation .Because of that , this trouble is spreading in the world and causes other problems such as : mortality or death rate , unempoyement , famine, …. because they give birth to too many children in a short time . We know in some areas , people don’t know how to prevent themselves from being pregnant and they don’t have possibility to cure and to feed the children . Since they are not educated they do the same thing that their parents used to do.

I think it is dangerous for the soceity because when they can’t find any job , they are obliged to take a gun in order to live . Sometimes , they kill people who were educated .

We see it is important that this problem solve in the world because it can cause many troubles . You who are youngs , adults , we can think about that . It is truly a big problem . It would be important to educate our youth in order to prevent it from giving birth premature and to too many children . The government of each country must fight againts the overpopulation.

If the president of each country thought about that , there would be a changement.

The famine In Haiti

During the year of 2008, Haiti faced a trouble whitch is very terrible for the people. It is so terrible , the people give several names to it . Some one says it is a clorox whitch is cuting inside their stomac for others it is poison.So we can say the people are diying of starvation.If  you don’ t eat , you can see how is the situation . We can say , hunger is the most dangerous pain in the life because nobody can’t live without eating . They are all students and it is really if they don’t eat , they can’t memorize any lesson.

I think it is the greatest problem in Haiti (Bayonnais) because the people have no means to feed their children and themselves . Sometimes , they have eith, nine and ten children to whom they can’t take care . Then this starvation ,so  we are thinking about that but we can do nothing because we have no means for that , only we see it would be important to put it right by collaboration . At school , in church , you can find some children , yuong men , young girl who can’t feed themselves because they are too poor and this situation is growing up from day to day .

When you read that , how is your felling for them ? If you were in their place , how you would feel your self ? For me , if I were rich ,I would help them but unfortunatelly , we are in the same situation , one can’t help other . by reading , you can have the same objective with me for them . May be you don’t beleive , but it is true and real.

You can hear by news people are talking about food whitch is too expensive and they become unhappy and they are shouting loudly ” ALBA ALEXI “that means” rush out , leave the country ” because they are too hungry. Actually Jacques Edouard Alexis is obliged to leave the country. I think he has been leaving the country for three days because the hunger of the people .

So you can think it is really Haiti face a great famine. By reading , you can have the solidarity spirit for the people in Bayonnais. It would be fantastic because things would looking up for us.

The political situation of Haiti

For a longtime , Haiti faced with some plitical troubles whitch make it go back from day to day. I can say since 1806 these troubles began after the death of emperor Jn Jacques Dessalines who was the liberator .The politic becomes unstable in Haiti, in 1807,the country divides in two Republics Petion in West and Christophe in East , So at that time the situation was getting worse and worse .

According to the constitution, a president had to pass five years but from 1913 at 1915 we had four presidents one after another . The new was spreading in the world because our political leaders were very greedy for the power and until today . Everybody wanted to be president ,on july ,27, 1915, the president Vilbrun Guillaume and Oscar Etienne were assasssinated and the day after ,july 28 in the same year ,the Americans arrived in Haiti. So Haiti was occupyed  by the USA from 1915 to 1934 the country a little peace for a period of nineteen years.

The Americans left the on August ,21, 1934 and in 1941 after Stenio Vincent ,the problems start over with Elie Lescot who would like to change the constitution in order to continue his government and the power was at the benefit of the mulats because Lescot was a mulat .That made people become very unhappy and they manifested against him . Lescot was obliged to leave the contry. So, the situation was going on in the way before. the presidents after Lescot had almost the same though.

After that , the situation became worse and worse because there were many others presidents who passed in a few time Until Francois Duvalier became president in 1957 . Duvalier etablished in Haiti an hard regime like the king Louis XIV in France. He passed fourteen years and when he was about to die ,he gave the country to his son Jean-Claude Duvalier in 1971 who had the same way to his father to lead the country. In 1986 , Jean-Claude was obliged to leave  the the country because the people were unhappy the way jean-Claude lead the country. The country went back from day to day in the political situation with the government” provioire”.

At that time ,Aristide began to think for his part. In 1990, after Ertha Pascal Trouillot, Aristide became the president of Haiti.He came with the democracy in Haiti . He was very apreciated by the people . He govened with his general Roul Cedrace who after two years  foced Aristide to leave the country. Aristide left the country and went to USA where he planed to come back in Haiti.

On October 15,1994, Aristide went back to Haiti in order to continue his mandate . After two years , Rene Preval became president and he gouvern the country for five years . At that time he gave this memo“naje pou soti”. So the Haitians became very angry with him.Then , Aristide is one more time elected president,when he just came , the people were very happy with him . They though he was the messia according to his words. But in 2004, a man named Cubain ” Amio Meteye” was assassinated, and according to his supporters (advocates) , Aristide was one of his killers ,so the people manifested against Aristide above all (especially) Gonaives and he was obliged to leave the country  and he went to South Africa.

So  Haiti always stay in the same situation until today because there is not a link among our political leaders in order to solve this problem. without that we will stay in this situaton from today at the end .

Only I advice to the political leaders to try to put them together ,please have mercy for our Haiti, our first independent nation in Latina america. Please , get ride of all pride in order to save this young nation, in order to save Haitan people in misire, in inability of all.

The unemployement in Haiti

In Haiti ., more than 80% of the people  are obliged to stay home every day because they don’t have any job . They are obliged to bed from the the sunrise until the  sunset .That makes them sometimes give birth to eith, nine, ten sometimes to eleven or twelve children and these children are living in the same situation with them because of the poverty of their parents .So they can’t go anywhere after school if is possible.

The unployement is going on in Haiti and in many others countries in Africa.
The unemployement is growing up in the caribran countries.In Haiti , may be the situation is the worst because in my community ,I can say 98% of the little peasants can’t find any job because of that , their children are living in the same situation with them .

 Eventhough they forced to finish school because their parents are poor they are obliged to sit down , their family is unfortunate . It is a politic problem that the state in the country or the chief of the government must try to solve by creating employees in the country in order to help the people to leave this situation, have a better way of life.

When they don’t have anything to do, they are obliged to distroy the tropical forest whitch causes an other big problem in the country. You can see the unempoyement can give birth to many others problem in a country .

By thinking , you can see it is realy ,the unemployement can give birth to the war , the “surpopulation” and many others problem.

Widows and Widowers

For along time, I am thinking about the widowers and widows in Bayonnais. But I couldn’t express my idea about that. But now , I see it is important that I present this situation .

In Bayonnais , there are many people that their wives or their husbands had died and now they become widowers and widows. Many of them didn’t have any child. because of that they are in a situation unpleasant, they have no body to take care of them. With the evolution(developpemernernt) of the society , we see it is necessary to put right this situation.

I am too young and I am private of economic capacity because I live in a backward  country, I am unable to help them . I don’t have possibility to travel.So, I present the situation in my blog, I hope you will enjoy it.

My objective is: to build a big house of many rooms and put one or two beds in each room. I would place some women to feed them ,to wash their clothes and to clean the house and the courtyard.when they die , I would be in charge burying them completely.When they are sick , we would have some physicians(doctors) in order to take care of them.

So, I would love you to collaborate with me in this situation in order to solve this problem, it would be nice.

I hope from today people will begin thinking about that and I wish they will fix their eyes on it.

Life is like that it is important that the strongs help the weaks.

The Haitian youth

A long time ago, the way of life of young Haitians was very different from today because the developement was not too large . At that time , there were only three sectors.But now by the evolution of the science all things change. The development is  very advanced. With  our  artist  such  Gracia Delva ,  Gazman  Pierre,  Richie and many others, their song  are very  interesting for the haitian youth because there many lessons in them.

The technology begins to advance ,that makes me feel so good although we don’t have money .Don’t forget there are some thing we have to avoid because this advancement may be a danger for the country entire.We have to avoid that because our young girls and boys can increase the situation.We know  to prevent is better than to cure . It is impotant that we always listen to our parents because sometimes they have good advices .

Therefore we have to know how to use this new time and this fourth sector in whitch the technology is very advanced and the youngs some where are free.

There are some problems that we have to underline in order to prevent some thing . Even if you are happy for the activities whose we are object don’t forget to control yourself because by enjoying you can commit some erros whitch are unpleasant to the society or the country such as the increasing of  population by children without father. These children, if they don’t any body to take care of them , they will spread trouble in the society because they don’t receive any education. That is why we always stay in the backward. Let’s try to do it better in order to protect our country, to prevent the Haitians from living in the misire because our life is very miserable.

Let’s protect our youth, ourself, our society, our country and even the world entire.

The Nazareth School problem

For a long time , Nazareth school of Cathor Bayonnais faced some obtacles, beacause in Haiti the pupils don’t have enough ability to pay their school fees.So the principle is obliged to accept them,because of that the principal of Nazareth School is unable to pay the teachers each month, but he would like to continue the education.Then I am obliged to write this little page in order to solve this problem.

It would be great to help this man to this problem because the illeteteracy is not good for a nation. So if you answer to sponsorise the Nazareth school it would be good for and for haiti entire.

This school has about three hundres pupils(300), there is a little ground in it we can build a big school. The school we have now is built in woods and circled with cocoter leaves. I am the secreary of this school.The name of the principal is SAINT-LOUIS   LEVELT
